We are happy to announce a new workshop series for those interested. This will be a nine-hour workshop designed to get you up to speed with computers. In this class, we will look at basic computer hardware, different flavors of operating systems, and productivity tools (Microsoft Office). We will equally discuss the Internet and how you can keep your children from seeing images that are not appropriate for them as well as monitor their progress in school through the tools the districts are using nowadays.
The workshops will be held on the following dates.
May 28, June 12, and June 25th, 2016 at the Centenary Methodist Church
Sessions will go from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Everyone who attends will walk away with an 8GB Flash Drive (a convenient and portable storage solution). Those who can complete the entire training will be entered into a raffle. The grand prize is a Tablet. Light refreshments will be provided.
