United Africans of Utah (UAU) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2004 by African immigrants and refugees seeking community, connection, and mutual support. Rooted in the strength of our shared heritage, we bring together Africans across Utah to uplift one another and celebrate the rich cultural diversity that strengthens our state.

UAU exists to empower, educate, and support Africans living in Utah, ensuring that newcomers and long-time residents alike have the resources they need to thrive. We are committed to preserving African cultural identity while fostering meaningful integration within Utah’s vibrant and diverse community landscape.
